Dr. Bidyanath Koirala is former Department Head of Faculty of Education at Tribhuwan University and is one of the most renowned educationists and opinion makers in Nepal. Dr. Koirala has been supporting the initiatives of HELP all the way from 2012 with whom we have partnered on the national campaign called “Shixak le  chahema garna Sakchhan or Teacher Can Make a Difference”.  

Honorable Gagan Thapa is a member of Parliament and former minister of Health and Population who served in the government of Nepal in 2017. He is a strong advocate of education transformation in Nepal and supports many educational initiatives emphasizing the need for improving the quality of education in  public schools in Nepal. He has attended several of our Saathi Teachers Programme events encouraging the new cohorts to go and teach in rural Nepal. 

Dr. Meenakshi Dahal is an Early Childhood Development and Education expert with more than 20 years of diverse experience of working with the government, non government and donor systems from local, national and international level. 

Mr. Medin Laamichhane is an educationist and a pioneer of the progressive education in Nepal who serves as the Principal of Ullens School, Lalitpur. A prolific writer, trainer, he strongly believes in fostering a strong environment for learning and growth, not only for the students, but also for the teachers. 

Honorable Shisir Khanal is a member of Parliament and served in the government of Nepal as Minister of Education, Science and Technology for a brief period in 2023. Prior to joining politics, Mr. Shishir Khanal served as the CEO of Teach for Nepal who also co-founded the organisation under whose leadership have inspired hundreds of young people to go and teach at the secondary level in several districts of Nepal.
