Our bigger vision is that the Saathi teachers, once they finish their two years journey, will remain in education as committed forces in various roles within government and private sectors. With the three cohorts completing their two years journey, many of our alumni are continuing to make a significant impact in the field of education taking on leadership roles, working as permanent government teachers, and contributing to various educational initiatives.
a. Jyoti Adhikari: Jyoti Adhikari is our first cohort alumna. She taught English at Shree Taltuleshwari BS, Melamchi, Sindhupalchowk. She currently heads the primary wing at Shree Thangpal Valley School, Paanchpokhari Thangpal Rural Municipality-4, Sindhupalchowk.
b. Kuber Lama: Kuber Lama is our first cohort alum. He taught Math at Shree Satkanya Basic School, Paanchpokhari Thangpal Rural Municipality-3, Sindhupalchowk. He currently works as a permanent government teacher at Shree Ganesh Secondary School, Gorkha and teaches Math. He also has recently joined HELP as one of its boards.
c. Nitin Shrestha: Nitin Shrestha is our first cohort alum. He taught English at Shree Satkanya Basic School, Paanchpokhari Thangpal Rural Municipality-3, Sindhupalchowk. He currently works as a teacher at Kopila Valley School, Surkhet.
d. Bishnu Mijar: Bishnu Mijar is our third cohort alumna. He taught Math at Shree Mangalamai Secondary School, Tripurasundari-4, Sindhupalchowk. He currently works as a government teacher at Ramechhap.
e. Sir Bahadur Tamang: Sir Bahadur Tamang is our second cohort alum who taught Math at Shree Panchakanya Basic School, Sindhupalchowk. He currently works as a Permanent government teacher at Shree Batuki Basic School, Gandaki Rural municipality, Gorkha. Math teacher
f. Aruna Kumal: Aruna Kumal is our 2nd cohort alumna who continued her journey for a third year. She taught English at Shree Hiradevi Basic School and Shree Golmeshwari Basic School. She is pursuing a Masters in Gender Studies. She currently works as a School Leader at Akala Basic School, Markichowk- 2, Aanbukhaireni.
g. Aruna Shrestha Karki: Aruna Shrestha Karki is our 3rd cohort alumna. She taught English at Shree Ganesh Basic School, Tripurasundari -2, Sindhupalchowk. She currently works at Saathi Teachers Programme as a Teachers Development Coordinator for Tripurasundari cluster.
h. Safina Shrestha: Safina Maharjan is our 3rd cohort alumna. She taught Math at Shree Setidevi Basic School, Tripurasundari -1, Sindhupalchowk. She currently works at Saathi Teachers Programme as a Teachers Development Coordinator for Aanbookhaireni cluster.
i. Kumari Kavita Tamang: Kumari Kavita Tamang is our 1st cohort alumna. She taught English at Shree Saraswoti Basic School, Panchpokhari Thangpal RM, Sindhupalchowk. After completing her Saathi journey, she joined the Saathi Teachers Programme team as Teachers Development Coordinator and worked for 3 years.
j. Goma Adhikari: Goma Adhikari is our 2nd cohort alumna. She taught Math at Shree Saraswati Basic School, Panchpokhari Thangpal RM, Sindhupalchowk. Currently, she works as a Math Teacher at Shree Bhadrakali Secondary School, Barahbise, Sindhupalchowk.
k. Gopi Waiba: Gopi Waiba is our 2nd cohort alumna. She taught English at Shree Saraswati Basic School, Panchpokhari Thangpal RM, Sindhupalchowk. She currently works as a teacher at Shree Aanpachaur Basic School, Nuwakot.
l. Yamuna Budhathoki: Yamuna Budhathoki is 2nd cohort alumna. She taught Math at Shree Bachhalamai Basic School, Panchpokhari Thangpal RM, Sindhupalchwok. She is currently working at Angrima Academy in Panchpokhari Thangpal Rural Municipal.
m. Jamuna Khokali: Jamuna Khokali is our 1st cohort alumna. She taught Science at Shree Golmeshwori Basic School, Panchpokhari Thangpal RM, Sindhupalchwok. She currently works as a teacher at Yangrima School. She currently works at Global Oriens Nepal as Trainer / Counsellor in Pokhara.
