We believe in trusted and lasting partnership. Partnership is built through shared values and mission, common objectives and standing on equal ground, working towards fulfilling the institutional/organisational goals and growth centred around the people and the communities we serve. We are continuously seeking suitable partners to help grow the Saathi Teachers Programme and the work that goes in it.
There are three areas in which the partnership at Saathi Teachers Programme is formed . One is funding our funding partners whose donations, grants and support enables us to design, develop and build the programmes. Another is our Local Government partners who not only welcome, host and approve the programme but provide us with the financial support and local support to implement the programme. And, the third partners are like-minded institutions and organisations who share with us their expertise, technical support, human resources, platform, networks and knowledge to strengthen our programme.
Currently, we have the following funding partners:
Of our funding partners, Mondo Foundation, a charity in the UK, is our longest and strongest partner who are currently supporting the operations of Saathi Teachers Programme in two municipalities. In fact, Mondo Foundation has been the closest and the key partner on the strength of whose support HELP as an organisation was able to build it multiple programmes all the way from 2010. The Mondo Foundation has supported us in three phases. First was between the year 2010 and 2015 to provide the basic resource for over 25 schools in Helambu, Melamchi and Paanchpokhari region. Second was between the years 2015 to 2019 to provide financial resources to provide emergency relief work and reconstruction of 14 schools in Helambu, Melamchi and Paanchpokhari, that were destroyed by the 2015 earthquake. Third wave of support is starting 2019 to launch the Saathi Teachers Programme and it is still continuing from strength to strength.
Interhands Foundation is a private trust based and registered in Oslo Norway. The organisation has emerged as one of our largest partners since 2022 for funding our annual Scholarship Programme run through HELP as well as a key contributor in running Saathi Teachers Programme in one of the three Local Governments we work.
International Teachers Association
