Honorable Gagan Thapa is a member of Parliament and former minister of Health and Population who served in the government of Nepal in 2017. He is a strong advocate of education transformation in Nepal and supports many educational initiatives emphasizing the need for improving the quality of education in  public schools in Nepal. He has attended several of our Saathi Teachers Programme events encouraging the new cohorts to go and teach in rural Nepal.
