Our current capacity is limited to working in three municipalities both by funding and team capacity. However, we are constantly working our way to enhance our capacity so that the reach and the benefit of the Saathi Teachers Programme is wider. Whilst we have received requests and interests from many Local Governments from across the country, we have kept ourselves within the following municipalities.
Paanchpokhari Thangpal RM
Paanchpokhari Thangpal Rural Municipality is our first and longest serving partner municipality, since the inception of Saaathi Teachers Programme in 2019. Under the leadership of its Chair, Mr. Tasi Lama, Saathi Teachers Programme is currently in its 6th year with the 5th cohort being placed in this academic year. Mr. Lama has been a continuous supporter of our work and firmly believes that strengthening primary education lays a solid foundation for lifelong learning in students.
Currently, we have ten Saathi teachers working across five basic schools within the municipality, teaching Math and English, placed across 4 wards. Saathi Teachers Programme is simultaneously exploring other avenues with the Rural Municipality, such as Teachers Training and pleased to share that we recently conducted a two-day motivational workshop for 184 teachers from 25 schools within the municipality.

Tripursundari RM
With the start of our partnership with Tripurasundari RM in 2021, and the graduation of the placed 10 Saathi teachers of the third cohort, our partnership with this RM has continued for a third year. The Chairperson, Mr. Bhaktaraj Bohora has been a driving force of our work in the RM who believes that education is an empowering force that enables individuals to achieve their full potential and drives progress within communities.
Currently, we have ten Saathi teachers working across four basic schools within the municipality, teaching Math and English, placed across 3 wards. We have also organized a workshop on Leadership Contemplation for the Headteachers where they discussed their roles, responsibilities, and also shared their experiences and observations of Saathi and their teaching. We are looking forward to exploring how we can further collaborate with the RM.

Aanbookhaireni RM
Aanbookhaireni RM is our latest partner municipality with the start of partnership of Saathi Teachers Programme in 2022. Its Chairperson, Mr. Sukra Chumanm, one of the 40 youth leaders under 40 in Nepal nominated by OnlineKhabar.com, has been a continuous supporter of our work in Anbookhaireni Rural Municipality, who advocates for the need to invest largely in education to build a strong foundation for future generations and thus, enhance their opportunities in life.
Currently, we have ten Saathi teachers working across four basic schools within the municipality, teaching Math and English, placed across 3 wards.

And, in the year between 2022 to 2024, the Saathi Teachers Programme has also worked in Melamchi Municipality where 10 of our Saathi Teachers have tagged across five schools benefiting more than 500 students.
