Shree Chandeswori Basic School is situated in the rural community of Aamdadabesi, serving approximately 50 households. Established in 2045 B.S., the school offers education from ECD up to Grade 8, with students ranging in age from 3 to 15. The majority of students belong to the Bhujel ethnic group, with smaller numbers from other communities.
The school is located in a remote area, requiring a 40-minute walk from the nearest settlement, Panchkilo. Despite the community's economic challenges, which are largely based on agriculture and animal husbandry, the school boasts adequate infrastructure, including 5 one-storey buildings, each furnished with desks, benches, and modern technology such as computers and Wi-Fi.
Under the leadership of Principal Kuber Dhakal and SMC Head Prem Bahadur Gurung, Shree Chandeswori Basic School joined the Saathi Teachers Programme in 2080 B.S. Priyanka Panday and Hanna Lama are working as Saathi Teachers which has further strengthened its teaching capacity and enriched the learning environment for students.
